I’m Bill Carruthers—a director, editor, and producer with over 15 years of experience creating award-winning stories for television, sports franchises, documentaries, and branded content.

My work has earned 26 Lone Star Emmy Awards, a duPont-Columbia Award, a National Edward R. Murrow Award, three regional Murrow Awards, and eight Telly Awards. From gritty true crime to emotionally rich features and sports storytelling, I specialize in making people feel seen through powerful visuals and compelling structure.

Whether I’m leading a team in post, shaping a script, or shooting on location, I bring intention, creativity, and collaboration to every project. I currently live in Houston, Texas, and I’m always looking for the next great story to tell.
