The War Inside
Emmy Award – Military Feature
For many soldiers, the hardest battle begins after they return home. Suicide rates continue to rise as veterans struggle to reconnect with family, find steady work, or manage the relentless grip of PTSD. They’re expected to “be normal” — even as they fight an invisible war inside.
This feature follows one veteran’s journey through a cutting-edge simulation program designed to help him heal. With support from Allies in Service and a North Texas technology team, the story reveals how innovation, empathy, and community can change — and even save — lives.

My Role:
A tragic plane crash near Houston’s Hobby Airport claimed the lives of three members of the Grey family. What appeared at first to be an unforeseeable accident later revealed a series of preventable failures: air traffic control mistakes, ignored weather guidance, and systemic lapses in FAA oversight.
This investigative feature examines exclusive crash scene footage, tower audio, and federal reports to uncover how the tragedy unfolded — and why accountability has been painfully slow. Through interviews and detailed reconstruction, the story exposes the chain of decisions that led to a loss that should never have happened.
Emmy Award – Crime Feature
The Crash That Killed the Greys

My Role:
Jason Landry disappeared on a cold December night in 2020. His car was found crashed and abandoned on a rural road outside Luling, Texas — his clothing left behind, his phone still inside, and no trace of Jason anywhere.
This investigative feature examines the unanswered questions that continue to haunt his family and community. Through interviews with his parents, investigators, and experts who joined the search — including former FBI personnel and the Texas Attorney General’s Cold Case Unit — the piece explores whether Jason’s disappearance was a tragic accident or the result of something far more troubling.
This Director’s Cut offers a deeper look at the timeline, the evidence, and the voices still fighting for answers

Bells For Abigail
Gold Telly Award, Emmy nominated - Human Interest
Abigail Arias was just seven years old when she captured the heart of the country. Diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer, she dreamed of becoming a police officer — a dream the Freeport Police Department fulfilled when they swore her in as an honorary officer, badge number 758.
Her story grew into a movement.
This feature follows Abigail’s journey with the officers who adopted her as family, the community that rallied around her, and the powerful message she carried with her: “Stay Relentless.” Through intimate interviews, emotional moments with her parents and the Freeport PD, and scenes that became national headlines, the piece captures the bravery and joy she brought to everyone she met.
Awarded a Gold Telly, the story continues to inspire children battling cancer, law enforcement agencies, and families across the country.

In Her Words
Emmy Award – Crime Feature
Told entirely without narration, In Her Words gives two sexual assault survivors the space to share their stories in their own words. Their accounts are raw, honest, and deeply personal.
Using a minimal, intimate visual style, the piece challenges how sexual violence is often portrayed in the media — centering the survivors’ strength rather than the crime.

HIV still carries a heavy stigma. For many, a diagnosis can mean losing a job, a community — even family. But behind every statistic is a person still fighting, still hoping, still here.
This story is told with no narration. Every moment comes directly from those living with HIV — raw, unfiltered, and honest. Their courage is the heartbeat of this piece.
Emmy Award – Health/Science Feature
I'm Still Here
The Cost of Water
Emmy Award – Environmental Feature
Texas knows drought — but this investigation asks a harder question:
Is water scarcity really the problem, or is it the price?
This Emmy-winning story examines how undervaluing water leads to overuse, waste, and long-term environmental consequences. From leaky pipes to overflowing sprinklers and luxury backyard waterfalls, the piece highlights the disconnect between what water is worth and what it actually costs.
